Yongxin Zhang, MD, PhD

Dr. Zhang, Director of Research, has more than twenty years of research experience in both academic and industrial environment and authored more than 20 papers (first-authored 16) in peer- reviewed journals. He holds an MD and a PhD from Beijing Medical University, as well as 7 years of postdoctoral training in molecular and cellular immunology from Baylor College of Medicine.

Leonard J. Giblin, III, M.D., Ph.D

Dr. Leonard Giblin provides Scientific, Medical & Engineering consulting services for Biotech firms. Recent work includes the automation of cytogenetics, the use of zinc in prostatic secretions as a biomarker for prostate cancer and the development, and automation of Regenetech’s stem cell technologies. Dr. Giblin is also currently the CEO and Chief Engineer for Diluvian Technologies, LLC, a Houston area company specializing biomedical technologies. His areas of expertise include mechanical, electrical & software engineering as well as writing SBIR grants. Dr. Giblin received both his M.D. and Ph.D. (Cellular Physiology & Molecular Biophysics Program) from the University of Texas Medical Branch – Galveston.

Farhang Farhangfar

Farhang Farhangfar is the Director of Technical Services at Regenetech. He has over 20 years of research experience and has authored 6 publications. He received a BS in Biology at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and an MS in Immunology from the University of Chicago. He then worked at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary/Harvard Medical School for 9 years. Before joining Regenetech, he was an Associate Scientist at MithraGen, Inc., a small Biotech company working on DNA and Dendritic Cell vaccine technology. Farhang also serves as the Manager of the BioHouston Resource Center.
